How is a website created?
A great website starts with a clear goal and an intimate knowledge of your customers. We help you decide how best to construct your website to reach as many of these customers as possible. The video below briefly explains the process we go through to create a website for you. (4:24 min)
Once we have established the best course of action, we can help you with copywriting, search engine optimisation, photography and logo design - if necessary. Our professional graphic designers will develop the “look and feel” of the site in consultation with you. You will have the opportunity to request changes to these designs.
Once you have approved the designs, the development process starts in earnest. This often involves teams of programmers and designers working together to make sure all your requested elements work perfectly together and that your website is compatible with the latest browsers and technologies.
You will have an opportunity to view the website as it is nearing completion and request changes.
When you have approved the site and the final invoice has been paid, we will conduct the final testing and integrate it onto the live server.
However, this is not the end of the process - only the beginning! A good website becomes even better when it is constantly improved, updated and monitored. We will give you access to a comprehensive statistics program so you can find out which parts of your website are attracting the most attention and adjust your web strategy accordingly. Requesting changes to your site can be as simple as sending us an email.
Once the site is completed, the initial search engine marketing that was started before the site was begun, is put into action. We will help you prepare and send e-newsletters, target particular groups using Google Adwords or Facebook Insights, and show you how to use free tools to check keywords or see which sites are linking to yours.
