VELOCITY launches Brisbane into the Information Age! Velocity Brisbane (formerly the Office of Economic Development Brisbane) Website was launched today with great fanfare at Brisbane City Hall. The former Brisbane Office of Economic Development has a new website developed by Datasearch Internet Services as part of its rebranding exercise designed to give VELOCITY a global presence, raise awareness of Brisbane as a viable business destination and awareness of VELOCITY’s services and partners as well as providing information to prospective businesses in a unique manner. The design was developed in conjunction with VELOCITY’s advertising agency De Pasquale. The website incorporates flash logos, XHTML and Datasearch’s own Content Management System to allow VELOCITY’s staff to be able to enter in upcoming News, Events, Media Releases, e-newsletters and specific Aviation News. Also featured are slide in testimonials, world time zones and exciting, innovative design that altogether makes this the best, most informative and functional Office of Economic Development website in the world. A Second Phase of the VELOCITY website incorporating webcams, video and audio streaming and much more will go into production later in the year.
